Robert Harris

Board Member since 2011

Rob works as a finance lawyer, representing banks, direct lenders and private equity firms in complex transactions, primarily in the healthcare industry.  He also represents the Tennessee Titans in their league-wide financings. Rob is a partner at Holland & Knight, and its predecessor in Tennessee, Waller Lansden.  Rob is a native Nashvillian, and he and his wife raised his three adult children in Nashville.

Why Debate?

Rob began debating with his parents as a toddler and soon joined the debate team at Hillsboro High School. Rob debated for 2 years at Dartmouth College.  He often refers to himself as "The Greatest (Debater) that Never Was". Rob joined the board, having seen the transformative impact of debate on the lives of so many Nashville high school students.
