Why Debate?
Debate helped me build up public speaking and research skills, it taught me how to lose and try again, and it gave me some of my very best friends in the world. Because of how valuable debate was in my own life, I have continued to volunteer with leagues and coach debate for the past 7 years. I never fail to be amazed by the transformative power of debate in the lives of young people. It opens doors and helps students develop into the best versions of themselves. My goal is to make this amazing activity accessible to as many students as possible.
