Beverly Jones

Board Member since 2015

Beverly Jones feels privileged to have served as the Acting Director of the Nashville Urban Debate League from 2014-2021.  She is a retired educator and debate coach who now enjoys farm life with her family, rescue horses, and farm pets. 

Why Debate?

As a debate coach in Nashville public schools, I witnessed firsthand how opportunities to participate in competitive policy debate positively changed the academic success and self-esteem of high school students.  I share in NUDL's commitment to bring these rewarding opportunities to more and more students in Nashville public schools.
