I am a NUDL Debate Alumni who spent four years competing with Hillwood High School's Inaugural team. I competed in Nationals in 2011 after winning the City Championship tournament with my partner and served as a Volunteer Judge Coordinator for the league while I attended Vanderbilt University. I joined NUDL's Board in 2019 and currently work for HCA Healthcare in Graduate Medical Education as a Director of Development. I am an avid soccer player and enjoy rooting for the Titans, Nashville SC, and Chelsea FC. You can catch me biking, working out, or trying out new restaurants with friends in my free time when I'm not tuning in to a game!  

Why Debate?

I joined the board because I experienced firsthand how Debate can change lives as a NUDL debater. Prior to Debate, I lacked self-confidence and did not feel comfortable voicing my opinions about critical issues affecting our world. After joining Debate, I gained the confidence and critical thinking skills that helped me find my voice both in my professional and personal life.
